We are implementing a SAAS solution for Dataops Applications. We have SAAS solution hosted in AWS Infrastructure. As a consumer we have an AWS Account where we will be hosting the runner typically a compute service which will be executing the tasks/jobs from SAAS solution.
To handle the connectivity between our AWS child account and SAAS solution provider account, we have identified AWS Private link as efficient networking solution.
In AWS Private Link, we can connect with other AWS accounts without using Internet. So, we have enabled private link from our AWS account to SAA provider AWS account.
Private link connection happens using elastic network interface and Interface endpoints at our site. It connects to SAAS provider using network load balancer at SAAS provider site.
Recently AWS Private link supports native cross-region connectivity to enable SAAS solutions to offer their service globally from single region.
