Introduction
I recently joined AWS Builder Center. I’m new to the platform and want to learn by exploring skills and connecting with other builders. In this post, I’ll share how I set up my profile, what I’ve explored so far, and what I plan to learn next.
Getting started
I signed up with my AWS Builder ID and set up my profile. [Describe what you did, e.g., “I added my interests and linked my profile to my learning goals.”] A profile is your public identity here, so I treated it as the first thing to get right.
What I’ve explored
[List the topics, Topics pages, Workshops, or Capabilities you’ve looked at.] The part I found most useful was [your favorite resource and why].
Earning badges
I’ve started earning badges as I complete activities. So far I have [badge names]. [Say what each one taught you or what you’d do differently.]
What I learned
  • [Lesson 1, e.g., “Learning in public makes it easier to stay consistent.”]
  • [Lesson 2, e.g., “Reading other builders’ articles gave me ideas for my own projects.”]
  • [Lesson 3]
Next steps
Over the next few weeks, I plan to [goal, e.g., “complete a hands-on workshop on serverless basics and write up what I built”]. I’d welcome tips from others who have been on the platform longer, so feel free to comment.
