I'm beginning my AWS learning journey to understand cloud computing and how it powers modern applications. Why I Started Learning AWS
Technology is constantly evolving, and I want to understand how modern applications are built, deployed, and managed. That is why I have started learning about Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud computing.
As someone with a background in computer science, I want to build a strong foundation in cloud technology and understand how it is used in real-world applications.
What Is Cloud Computing?
Cloud computing allows people and businesses to use computing resources over the internet instead of managing all the physical hardware themselves.
For example, an application may need servers to run, storage to save files, and databases to manage information. Cloud platforms such as AWS provide services that help developers set up and manage these resources.
This makes cloud computing an important concept for anyone interested in modern software development.
My Learning Goals
I am currently working toward understanding the fundamentals of AWS and preparing for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification.
My learning goals include:
- Understanding the basic concepts of cloud computing.
- Exploring AWS services and their practical uses.
- Learning about cloud security, pricing, and shared responsibility.
- Practising with AWS learning resources and hands-on activities.

Learning One Step at a Time

I plan to keep learning through documentation, guided exercises, and practical experiments. I also want to connect what I learn about AWS with my existing interest in software development and AI engineering.
