My Journey Toward Becoming an AWS Cloud Engineer

I am a Robotics and Artificial Intelligence engineering graduate beginning my journey into cloud engineering. I am learning Amazon Web Services (AWS) to understand how modern applications are deployed, secured, monitored, and scaled in the cloud.

What I Am Learning
I started with AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials to understand cloud computing fundamentals, AWS global infrastructure, pricing, security, and core services.
My learning roadmap includes:
- Amazon EC2: Running applications on virtual servers.
- Amazon S3: Storing and managing files and objects.
- AWS IAM: Managing identities, permissions, and access securely.
- Amazon VPC: Understanding cloud networking and isolated networks.
- Amazon CloudWatch: Monitoring application performance and logs.
My Practical Goals
I plan to deploy a Python application on AWS, practise Linux and networking, containerize applications using Docker, and explore automated deployments with GitHub Actions and infrastructure as code.
Conclusion
My goal is to combine my Python and software development experience with practical AWS skills to build secure, reliable, and cost-aware cloud solutions. I look forward to learning from the AWS community and sharing my progress.
