My AWS Learning Journey: Understanding EC2, S3, and IAM 🚀

As a student learning AWS, I am exploring how cloud services work together. In this article, I share what I learned about EC2, S3, and IAM in simple words.

My AWS Learning Journey: Understanding EC2, S3, and IAM 🚀

Cloud computing is an important technology in today's world. As an Artificial Intelligence and Data Science student, I am interested in learning how cloud services help us build and manage applications.

What Is Amazon EC2?

Amazon EC2 helps us run applications on virtual servers in the cloud. Instead of buying a physical computer, we can use an EC2 instance to run our applications.

What Is Amazon S3?

Amazon S3 is used to store files and data. We can use it to store images, documents, backups, and other files.

What Is AWS IAM?

AWS IAM helps us manage access to AWS services and resources. It allows us to control who can access resources and what actions they can perform.

How Do These Services Work Together?

Imagine we are building a website.
  • EC2 can run the website.
  • S3 can store images and other files used by the website.
  • IAM can control the permissions needed to access AWS resources.
These services help us build applications in the cloud while managing storage and security. IAM permissions should be limited to only what is needed.

What I Learned

Learning AWS step by step helps me understand cloud computing better. I want to practise these services by building small projects and learning from the AWS community.
I believe that practical experience is an important part of learning new technologies. I look forward to exploring more AWS services and improving my cloud skills.
