A Student's Study Plan for AWS Cloud Practitioner

How I am structuring a short, focused study plan for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam as a computer science student.

I am a computer science student preparing for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam. The exam is broad rather than deep, so my plan is to cover each domain once, practice, and then close gaps. Core services come first: I focus on what EC2, S3, IAM, VPC and RDS do and when each is the right choice, rather than memorizing every feature. Security comes next, especially the shared responsibility model, since AWS secures the cloud and customers secure what they put in it, along with IAM users, roles and least privilege. Pricing and support follow: On-Demand versus Reserved and Spot pricing, the Free Tier, and the AWS Pricing Calculator. Last, I take timed practice exams and write down every question I miss and the reason. My goal is to understand why each service exists, not just to pass. I will share what worked and what did not once I finish. If you have taken this exam, I would like to hear which topics surprised you most.
