Building a Lightweight AWS Deployment for CyberYukti

Cybersecurity tools need more than detection capabilities — they also need a deployment architecture that is practical, reproducible and cost-conscious.
CyberYukti is our project for autonomous vulnerability triage and evidence validation. Our deployment approach focuses on keeping the infrastructure simple while preserving the core security workflow.
The proposed architecture uses Amazon EC2 as the primary compute host, with Docker packaging the application and its supporting components. AWS CloudFormation will define the infrastructure as code, while GitHub Actions will automate testing, Docker image builds and deployment.
The container image is published through Docker Hub:

The intended pipeline is straightforward:
GitHub → GitHub Actions → Docker Hub → AWS EC2 → CyberYukti
This approach avoids introducing additional managed services when a single-instance deployment is sufficient for our demonstration. It also gives us a repeatable way to provision infrastructure, deploy updates and clean up resources afterward.
Our goal is to demonstrate a practical foundation for security analysis while keeping deployment complexity and costs under control.
