Understanding AWS Global Infrastructure as a Cloud Security Student

A brief look into my first deep dive into AWS Regions, Availability Zones, and why regional architecture matters for high availability and security.

Today I started diving into the core fundamentals of AWS architecture on Skill Builder, specifically focusing on global infrastructure. As someone learning about DevOps and cloud security, understanding how AWS Regions and Availability Zones work is a crucial first step. It is fascinating to see how physical data centers are isolated yet connected globally to ensure fault tolerance and low latency. Knowing where your data lives and how multi-region redundancy works plays a massive role when designing secure and resilient compliance frameworks. I am looking forward to exploring compute and storage options next.
im also looking forward to take aws cloud practitioner exam too
