What I Learned on My AWS Al Practitioner Journey
Preparing for the AWS Certified Al Practitioner certification helped me understand how Al fits into real-world cloud applications-and gave me the motivation to start building with it.
What I Learned on My AWS AI Practitioner Journey
When I started exploring generative AI, I honestly felt a little overwhelmed. There were so many new concepts—foundation models, RAG, agents, prompt engineering, responsible AI, and more.
Since I'm already interested in AWS, cloud, and DevOps, I decided to take a more structured approach and prepare for the AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification.
The biggest takeaway for me wasn't just learning AI terminology. It was understanding how AI can become part of a real application.
I started thinking beyond:
"Which AI model should I use?"
and more about:
"What problem am I actually trying to solve?"
That shift made learning much more interesting.
I also started seeing the connection between AI and cloud architecture more clearly. Security, data, monitoring, cost, and responsible AI matter just as much as the model itself.
Now that I've completed the certification, I'm looking forward to putting this knowledge into practice with Amazon Bedrock, RAG, AI agents, and AI-powered DevOps projects.
The certification gave me the foundation. Now comes the fun part—building. 🚀
I'd love to hear from the AWS community:
What are you currently building with AI and AWS?
