From Raw Data to Meaningful Insights with AWS
Exploring how AWS services can help transform raw data into meaningful insights through storage, processing, querying, and visualization.
From Raw Data to Meaningful Insights with AWS
Data is everywhere, but raw data alone is not enough. The real value comes from transforming that data into meaningful information that can support better decisions.
As I learn Data Analytics, I am exploring how AWS can support different stages of the analytics process.
- Store the Data
Amazon S3 provides scalable object storage and can be used as a central location for analytics data.
- Prepare and Transform
AWS Glue can help discover, prepare, and transform data for analysis.
- Query the Data
Amazon Athena allows users to analyze data stored in Amazon S3 using SQL, making it useful for exploring datasets without managing servers.
- Build a Data Warehouse
Amazon Redshift can be used to analyze large amounts of structured data and support data warehousing workloads.
- Visualize Insights
Amazon QuickSight helps turn analyzed data into dashboards and visualizations that make insights easier to understand.
My Learning Goal
I want to understand how these technologies work together to create an end-to-end analytics workflow:
Data → Storage → Processing → Querying → Analysis → Visualization → Insights
My goal is to gain practical experience by working with real-world datasets and building projects using AWS.
