My Journey into AWS Cloud Security as a Computer Science Student
I'm a Computer Science student exploring AWS and cloud security. I'm building practical skills in identity, networking, logging, monitoring, and threat detection as I work toward a career in cybersecurity.
As a Computer Science student interested in cybersecurity, I'm expanding my knowledge into cloud computing and AWS security.
I'm currently learning how AWS handles identity and access management, networking, logging, monitoring, and threat detection.
One of the areas I'm particularly interested in is understanding how services such as IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, and Security Hub can support security monitoring and incident investigation.
I'm using AWS Skill Builder to gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. My goal is to connect these cloud skills with my existing Linux, networking, and cybersecurity knowledge.
I'll be sharing what I learn as I continue this journey.
