AWS IAM: Securing Your Cloud Resources

AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) helps control who can access AWS resources and what actions they can perform.

As more applications move to the cloud, security and access control become essential. AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) helps organizations securely control access to AWS resources.
IAM allows you to create users, groups, roles, and policies with specific permissions. Instead of giving everyone full access, you can provide only the permissions they actually need.
For example, a developer may need permission to work with application resources but may not need access to billing information. IAM policies can define these permissions.
Using IAM properly helps follow the principle of least privilege, reducing the risk of unauthorized access.
