Heads-up for Free Tier users: the "Upgrade" button upgrades you instantly

Clicking "Upgrade" on the Free Tier upgrades your account instantly, with no confirmation and no way to revert. Here's what to watch for.

I'm on the AWS Free Tier and wanted to see what "Upgrade" actually means and which packages are available. I clicked it, expecting to land on a page comparing the options.
Instead, my account was upgraded to premium straight away. There was no confirmation pop-up and no summary of what I was agreeing to. I also can't find any option to go back to the Free Tier.
To be fair, the upgrade itself doesn't cost anything. The initial $100 credit stays, and it now lasts a year instead of 6 months. The catch is that once the credit runs out, AWS starts charging your payment method, where the Free Tier would not.
So if you're on the Free Tier and just curious about the plans, be careful: don't click "Upgrade" to explore. If you've already upgraded like me, keep an eye on your credit balance and set up a billing alert.
Has anyone found a way to revert? A confirmation step before the change takes effect would help a lot.
