AWS concept

One AWS security concept that really changed the way I think about cybersecurity is Least Privilege.
Before learning about IAM, I often thought that giving someone access simply meant deciding whether they could use a resource or not.
But AWS made me realize that access control is much more detailed than that.
A user may need access to a service, but do they really need access to every action?
If someone only needs to read an S3 bucket, why should they be allowed to delete its objects?
This sounds simple, but I think this mindset is one of the foundations of Cloud Security.
It also made me realize that security is often about reducing unnecessary access rather than simply adding more security tools.
I’m still learning, but I’m starting to see AWS less as a collection of services and more as a system where every permission has a security impact.
What is one cybersecurity concept that changed the way you think about security?
