Exploring AWS and Cloud Computing

My second week of learning AWS was focused on understanding how cloud computing works and exploring some of the important AWS services used in modern applications.

During this week, I learned how AWS (Amazon Web Services) provides cloud-based resources that can be used to build, deploy, and manage applications without depending entirely on physical infrastructure. This helped me understand why cloud computing has become an important technology for businesses and developers.

I explored services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, AWS IAM, AWS Lambda, Amazon RDS, and Amazon DynamoDB. I learned that EC2 provides virtual servers for running applications, while S3 can be used to store and retrieve data. IAM helps manage users, permissions, and security, and Lambda allows developers to run code without managing servers.

As an Artificial Intelligence and Data Science student, I am especially interested in how AWS can support AI and Machine Learning projects. I also explored Amazon Bedrock and learned how cloud-based AI services can help developers build generative AI applications.

This week helped me understand that learning AWS is not only about memorizing services. It is about understanding how different cloud technologies can work together to create scalable, secure, and useful applications.

In the coming weeks, I plan to continue improving my AWS skills, explore AI and Machine Learning services, and build practical projects using cloud technologies.
