OVERVIEW

LifeQueue is a smart task and priority management app that helps users organize upcoming tasks, deadlines, and commitments in a structured queue. It helps reduce missed tasks and decision overload by bringing important activities into one prioritized workflow.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

People often struggle to manage multiple tasks and commitments because priorities, deadlines, and upcoming activities are scattered across different places. This leads to missed deadlines, poor prioritization, and unnecessary mental load.

SOLUTION & WHAT WE BUILT

LifeQueue provides a centralized task queue where users can:
  • Add and manage tasks with deadlines and priorities.
  • Organize tasks based on urgency and importance.
  • View upcoming tasks in a clear queue-based interface.
  • Track task status and completion.
  • Focus on the next important action instead of manually deciding what to do next.

HOW WE USED KIRO

Kiro was used throughout the development process to accelerate implementation and maintain consistency across the project. It assisted with:
  • Project scaffolding and initial application structure.
  • Generating and refining frontend components.
  • Implementing task-management logic and workflows.
  • Iterative prototyping through prompts and feedback.
  • Debugging and improving existing code.
  • Refining the UI and user experience based on requirements.

  • Backend: Node.js + Express
  • Database / Cloud: Firebase Firestore
  • Authentication: Firebase Authentication
