Cloud-Based Student Attendance Tracker Using AWS

The Cloud-Based Student Attendance Tracker using AWS is a simple web application that helps teachers record and manage student attendance online. It uses Amazon DynamoDB to store attendance data securely in the cloud. The project provides an easy way to record, view, and manage attendance while demonstrating basic cloud computing and AWS concepts.

Cloud-Based Student Attendance Tracker Using AWS 📊

Managing student attendance manually can be time-consuming and difficult to maintain. To provide a simple solution, I explored a Cloud-Based Student Attendance Tracker using AWS. The idea is to create a lightweight web application where teachers can record and view student attendance online. The attendance data can be stored in Amazon DynamoDB, a managed NoSQL database service provided by AWS. A simple HTML and CSS interface can be used for the frontend, while Python with Flask can handle the backend and communicate with AWS services. When a teacher marks a student as present or absent, the information is stored in the cloud and can be retrieved whenever required. This project provides practical experience with cloud databases, web applications, and communication between an application and AWS. In the future, features such as student login, attendance percentage calculation, monthly reports, and automatic notifications can be added. This small project demonstrates how cloud computing can make everyday academic tasks simpler, more organized, and accessible.
