Early this year, in the month of March, I attended the AWS Community Day at Meru University, which marked my turnaround in my person into tech and made me venture more into AWS. After the event, I connected with Kidness Ebeneza, who was the lead at Meru University, and shared with him my will to join the AWS SBG and Bing the Club at our university, Tharaka University. I later spoke to Mr. Kevin Tuie, the AWS AI/ML lead, and Director Odel Tharaka, and shared with him my desire for us to establish AWS SBG at Tharaka University. He helped me and supported me. As I made my application to be AWS SBG lead, by lack, I got selected.
Today, I am happy to lead AWS SBG Tharaka University, and I just unlocked 12 months of AWS Skill Builder Premium.
This isn't just a subscription. It's AWS saying, "We trust you to build the future." For the next year, I am committing to: Complete at least 4 certification learning paths. Help 50 students from Tharaka University start their Skill Builder journey. Document every project I ship.
