Terms and Conditions: AWS User Groups Free Ticket to re:Invent 2026 contest.

From September 18, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) to October 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. PT enter for a chance to win one (1) ticket to re:Invent 2026. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. By entering, you agree to these Official Terms and Conditions ("Terms").

From September 18, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) to October 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. PT ("Contest Period") enter the "Free re:Invent 2026 Ticket Giveaway" ("Contest") by completing all three steps detailed below for a chance to win one (1) ticket to re:Invent 2026.

Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have an AWS Builder Center profile. Must be a member of the AWS User Group space on AWS Builder Center. Must have a valid U.S. visa for the event by November 9, 2026. Excludes individuals living in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Russia, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Belarus, the region of Crimea, the so-called Donetsk People's Republic region (DNR), the so-called Luhansk People's Republic region (LNR), and the United Arab Emirates. Amazon and Amazon Web Services ("AWS") employees and their immediate family members and members of their households are not eligible to participate. Limit one entry per person.

To enter the Contest, eligible participants must complete all three of the following steps during the Contest Period:

Step 1 — Join the AWS User Groups Space  on AWS Builder Center.

Step 2 — Earn Hello World and Photo Finisher badges by updating your Builder Center profile: complete the About section and upload a profile photo.

Step 3 — Submit your Community Story. Complete the Pulse form application at https://pulse.amazon/survey/ROGBM0Y1/  describing how being part of an AWS User Group provided a meaningful opportunity and its impact on you.

All eligible entries received during the Contest Period will be judged and rated by a panel of four (4) qualified judges utilizing the following criteria:

In the event of a tie, the tied entries will be re-evaluated by the Judges based on which entry best demonstrates the most specific, measurable impact of being part of an AWS User Group on the applicant's professional or personal development.

Entries that do not meet the requirements set forth in these Terms and Conditions may be disqualified in AWS's sole discretion. Winners will be selected by October 19, 2026. Approximate retail value of the prize is $2,499 USD. AWS reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) for an item of comparable or greater value, at AWS's sole discretion.

If you are selected as a potential winner of the Contest, AWS will contact you by the email address you submit to enter the Contest by October 16, 2026. The potential winner must have a valid U.S. visa for the event by October 31, 2026. If the selected winner does not have a valid U.S. visa by October 31, 2026, the prize will be forfeited and the entrant with the next highest score will be selected. If a valid visa is presented by October 23, 2026, the prize will be emailed to the email address you provide by October 23, 2026. Otherwise, the prize will be emailed once the visa is confirmed. Failure to provide the requested information or to respond to communications about the Contest within a reasonable period of time, as determined by AWS in its sole discretion, may result in the forfeiture of the prize.

By accepting the prize, you confirm that your receipt is neither prohibited nor inconsistent with any applicable laws, regulations, or binding orders, including applicable ethics or procurement rules, your receipt will not create a conflict of interest for AWS, and there are no ongoing competitive procurements for which your receipt of this benefit could conflict AWS from participating in the competition.

The following personal information will be collected by AWS for the Contest solely for the purposes of administering the Contest and verifying participant eligibility: name, city, state or province, country, and email address. Failure to provide all necessary personal information may result in participants' participation in the Contest being deemed ineligible. AWS handles your information in accordance with the AWS Privacy Notice.

Acceptance of prize by the winner constitutes permission for AWS to use winners' names or likenesses, and city, state or province, and country, if submitted to AWS, for any disclosures required by law, including a winners list, and for advertising and promotional purposes relating to the Contest in any and all media now or hereafter devised, worldwide in perpetuity (or to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law), without additional compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law.

By submitting your submission to the Contest, you represent and warrant that your submission does not: (i) perform or promote activities that are illegal; (ii) violate or infringe the intellectual property, proprietary, or other rights of others; (iii) perform or promote activities that are offensive or disparaging in any manner; or (iv) cause harm to others or to AWS's operations or reputation.

By submitting your project to the Contest, you grant AWS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, display, publish, and otherwise publicly disclose submission materials, including for promotional, marketing, and informational purposes, without further consent, approval, or compensation. You further represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, and authority necessary to grant this license.

The Contest is sponsored by AWS. AWS reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest at any time and for any reason.

AWS and its affiliates and licensors will not be liable to you under any cause of action or theory of liability relating to the Contest, even if a party has been advised of the possibility of such damages, for (a) indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or (b) lost profits, revenues, customers, opportunities, or goodwill. In any case, AWS and its affiliates' and licensors' aggregate liability under these Terms and Conditions will not exceed USD $100. The limitations in this paragraph shall apply only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
