Congratulations Amrut Pagidipally !
Welcome to the club, Amrut! You built a five-piece arc this summer that's really one long stress test of AWS's own claims about Lambda. He doesn't take a feature announcement at face value; he goes and builds something to check it. On his fictional plaque it reads:
Amrut started by taking AWS at its word that Lambda functions can now pause for free, and built a real AI agent pipeline to see if that held up. He carried the same instinct into testing AWS's claim that a production agent is down to just two API calls. From there he went digging into Lambda durable functions closely enough to find a documentation gap, and got AWS to actually fix the docs. He followed that by revisiting container images on Lambda, tracing dependency rot and CUDA bloat back to the platform's 10-second init cap. He closed the run by tracking down a Lambda bug that didn't show its face until six months after it shipped. Five posts, one habit: never trust the announcement, verify it yourself, and file the bug report when it doesn't hold up.
