Congratulations John Ajera !
It's time to welcome John Ajera to the illustrious AWS Community Builders Spotlight 5-Timers Club. John Ajera earns his 5 Timers Club spot by shipping five runnable walkthroughs that cover cross-cloud interconnects, S3 metadata pipelines, multi-account IPAM, PrivateLink isolation patterns, and WSL developer setup, all with working Terraform and no gaps left undocumented. On their fictional plaque it reads:
John Ajera hits the 5 Timers Club with a collection of walkthroughs that cover real networking and infrastructure problems end to end. His contributions span private cross-cloud connectivity between AWS and GCP without VPNs or public internet, structured metadata pipelines using S3 Annotations demonstrated against live volcano camera feeds from New Zealand, org-wide VPC IPAM delegation across four accounts and two regions, cross-account PrivateLink patterns including documented regional gaps in ap-southeast-6, and a full developer environment setup guide for Kiro IDE on WSL2 with AWS SSO integration.
What ties these together is the approach: each walkthrough ships runnable code, explains cost implications, and documents the rough edges that official docs skip over. The PrivateLink Conduit lab proves both success and isolation. The IPAM walkthrough walks through RAM pool sharing across a real org hierarchy. The S3 Annotations demo pulls from open GeoNet data and builds a working gallery. Nothing is theoretical, and nothing hides behind "exercise left to the reader."
