Designing the Cloud Infrastructure for an AI-Powered SaaS (Validexio)

The hardest part of building a SaaS isn't the coding—it's figuring out if people actually want what you are building.

AWS - DevOps Engineer
I am currently architecting the infrastructure for my new startup, Validexio—an AI-powered SaaS idea validation and execution platform.
Serving AI features to users requires a much more robust architecture than a standard web app. Here is how I am approaching the AWS setup:
  • Decoupled Architecture: To prevent AI processing times from bottlenecking the user experience, I am utilizing Amazon SQS (Simple Queue Service). When a user requests an idea validation, the request enters the queue, and background worker nodes handle the AI API interactions, allowing the frontend to remain completely unblocked.
  • Serverless Compute for Spikes: I am evaluating AWS Lambda for handling micro-tasks within the execution roadmaps, ensuring we only pay for compute when users are actively generating ideas.
  • Secure State Management: All infrastructure is managed via Terraform, keeping our AWS environments perfectly synced and secure.
I'd love to hear from other Builders: What AWS services do you prefer when building asynchronous AI features?
