My First AWS Skill Sprint! Nova Month + Strands Agents
I talk about my experience and the knowledge I have gained going through my first Skill Sprint
Hello!
This is my first blog! (Yahoo)
This is also my first time participating in a Skill Sprint! (Yahoo x2)
This Skill Sprint was a blast! I had fun learning more about the strands library and the ways AI Agents are now being created in this future of ours.
Challenge 1 introduced me to Ollama and Local AI Assistants. I used a normal python script with Strands Library so that I could provide a custom System Prompt and make the Local AI my own.
Challenge 2 introduced me to pre-defined/pre-built tools used by AI's to lessen burden of computing by relying on available tools written by the actual human programmer for a faster output.
Challenge 3 introduced me to the most exciting(read Dangerous) feature of them all, AI Memory. I learnt how AI store and reuse useful information given by the user which helps remove repetitive prompts.
Challenge 4 is a mix of Challenge 2 & 3, a mix which what makes AI Agentic.
Challenge 5 was the toughest one of all, I had to come up with something innovative. Well I was not able to(sadly) but I relied on the provided README and came up with a rudimentary DevOps assistant. I consider it a win nonetheless.
I learnt so much and I am lucky to be provided with this opportunity!
Thanks for reading!
