AWS Community Days: Where Builders Learn Together

There's something different about an event where the speakers are your peers, the organizers are volunteers who do this out of passion, and the agenda was shaped by the community itself. That's exactly what AWS Community Days are, and they're happening in cities across every continent, every year.

There's something magical that happens when developers, architects, students, and tech enthusiasts come together to share knowledge, inspire each other, and build the future side by side. That's what AWS Community Days are all about. Organized by AWS User Groups , AWS Community Days are technical conferences built by the community, for the community. The speakers are practitioners, the organizers are volunteers, and the knowledge is grounded in real experience.
Agenda include technical talks, hands-on workshops, and opportunities to network with industry experts on topics like DevOps, cloud architecture, AI, and security. It's a way to keep up with what's happening in cloud, build new skills, and connect with the community.

Why Attend?

If you've only ever learned about AWS through documentation or online courses, an AWS Community Day is a different experience entirely. You're in a room with people who are solving the same problems you are, and who are willing to talk about what worked, what didn't, and what they'd do differently.
It's the kind of event where a casual conversation during a coffee break turns into your next career opportunity, or where a question you were afraid to ask, opens your mind to possibilities you hadn't considered. These spaces are for everyone — from the student writing their first Lambda function to the senior architect designing multi-region systems. There's no gatekeeping, no prerequisites. Just builders sharing what they know and who are eager to learn what you know too.

A Global Movement

In the upcoming months, there are 16 Community Days already on the calendars spanning 16 cities across 13 countries. That's every continent covered except Antarctica (though if someone is interested in setting up a User Group at a research station, we're happy to support ;) ). Every event is different: different language, different city, different community. But the format is the same: builders sharing what they know with other builders.

🚀 Your Moment Is Now

If you're reading this and thinking "I'd love to go but I'm not sure I'm ready" — you are. AWS Community Days aren't just for experts. They're especially for people like you: curious, eager to learn, and looking to connect with other builders.
And if you're already part of this community, you know that every event is a chance to rediscover why you chose this path — and to reignite the passion that drives you to build.
Look up your local AWS User Group and get involved. Don't have one in your city? Even better — this is your chance to be the one who starts something. Because at the end of the day, AWS Community Days exist because builders like you decided it was time to connect, share, and build together.
