Magnivonic – The organizational intelligence layer for the enterprise | H0: Hack the Zero Stack with Vercel v0 and AWS Databases
This article documents the architecture and engineering decisions behind Magnivonic. It was created as part of my official submission to H0: Hack the Zero Stack with Vercel v0 and AWS Databases in the Monetizable B2B App track.
The zero-stack command center for cross-domain enterprise intelligence. Magnivonic synchronizes engineering signals, customer conversations, operational metrics, and business workflows through parallel AI agents into a single reasoning layer – discovering opportunities, risks, and cross-functional patterns to eliminate systemic operational blindness before it impacts your bottom line.
This content was created for the purpose of entering the H0: Hack the Zero Stack hackathon.
The Problem
Modern companies are not short of dashboards. They are short of a single mind that sees the whole business at once.
Revenue watches renewals. Security watches access logs. Support watches tickets. Engineering watches delivery. Each team is competent inside its own walls – and each is blind to the others. So the most expensive problems are the ones that live between teams:
- A security access anomaly on an enterprise account
- a 300% spike in that account's support tickets
- a falling health score
- and a renewal due in 18 days
These are not four separate tickets in four tools. They are one cascading event that will cost a seven-figure renewal. No single dashboard is built to see it, because no single dashboard reads across domains.
At small scale a good operator stitches this together by hand. At enterprise scale it is impossible – and the gap is exactly where churn, breaches, and missed expansion hide.
My Vision
Magnivonic is the organizational intelligence layer – a system that watches the organization the way a chief of staff would: continuously, across every domain, turning scattered signals into a short, ranked set of decisions with the action to take and the team that owns it.
Instead of "upload your data," the premise is "we already observe your company." You confirm the connections (CRM, GitHub, support, security), and the engine starts reasoning.
Why This Matters
The failure in modern operations isn't missing information – it's decision latency across boundaries. Traditional tools:
- visualize one domain at a time,
- only when someone goes looking,
- and leave the cross-domain synthesis to a human who may never be in the room.
Magnivonic introduces a different category: cross-domain reasoning with provenance. Signals are read in parallel, scored with real formulas, reasoned over by a language model, and every output traces back to the evidence and the precedent behind it – so a leader can trust it enough to act.

Full Live Demo: The Activation Moment and the Cascade
The product opens already connected. The user confirms four real standing connections, then runs a real analysis. On screen, four domain agents move from idle to active in parallel, a Chief of Staff assembles their findings, and a General Manager synthesizes them into typed insights – the architecture made visible, not described.
The result is an Intervention Canvas: a one-line executive summary, then the insights ranked by decision priority, each expandable to its full cross-domain breakdown, evidence, and historical precedent.
How Magnivonic Is Different
1. Typed insights, not a wall of alerts
The General Manager classifies each finding as exactly one of Risk · Opportunity · Coordination Gap · Drift – so the output reads like an executive's mental model, not a severity-sorted log. A critical Risk never crowds out a real Opportunity or a Coordination Gap between two teams acting on the same account, unaware of each other.
2. Real computed scoring – the model narrates, it does not invent
Every number is either a deterministic formula in code or an LLM judgment that is labelled as such. Security and Operations scores are auditable additive formulas over real telemetry and live GitHub data. Revenue and Customer scores are weighted, signal-severity formulas computed in code – Amazon Nova Pro only writes the human-readable explanation. The General Manager's confidence is a real corroboration-weighted formula (how many domains agree, weighted by their severity).
Every formula is printed in the product, on a dedicated Confidence page – the same discipline a technical reviewer would demand if they asked you to defend a number.
3. Organizational memory that compounds
Past incidents are embedded with Amazon Titan Embed V2 and stored in Aurora PostgreSQL + pgvector behind an HNSW index. On every run the engine recalls the most similar past events – including realistic call-transcript and voice-note evidence – and folds their lessons into the recommendation. The longer it runs, the sharper it reasons.
4. Source-to-decision traceability
Ask Magnivonic a question in plain language (the Debrief) and it answers with its evidence shown first – the past incidents (ranked by real cosine similarity) and the active risks it drew on – and it will read the answer back aloud via Amazon Polly. AI becomes auditable; in the enterprise, trust is the scarcest resource.
Competitive Landscape
| Capability | Traditional tools | Magnivonic |
|---|---|---|
| Scope | One domain at a time | Cross-domain, in parallel |
| Output | Alerts / dashboards | Typed insights + recommended action |
| Confidence | Assumed | Computed (formula printed) |
| Reasoning | Manual interpretation | Agentic, with a named decision path |
| Memory | None | Compounding organizational memory |
| Trust | Black box | Evidence-before-answer, voice playback |
How I Built This
A two-tier agent system on a fully serverless AWS stack.
- Domain agents (AWS Lambda, Python 3.12) – Revenue, Operations (reading the real GitHub API), Customer, and a deterministic Security agent, each emitting structured evidence with a real computed score.
- Chief of Staff (Lambda) – fires all four domain agents in parallel with
ThreadPoolExecutor(max_workers=4)and aggregates them into one context package plus a severity-weighted combined confidence. - General Manager (Lambda + Amazon Bedrock Nova Pro) – reasons across the package, retrieves precedents from memory, emits 1–4 typed insights, computes the confidences in code, writes to Aurora, and fires a Slack alert.
- Memory (Aurora Serverless v2 + pgvector, Bedrock Titan Embed V2) – a single managed store that holds both the relational facts and the 1024-dim vector index, so an insight and the precedent it cites live in the same transaction.
- Voice (Amazon Polly, neural) – a
POST /speakendpoint turns a Debrief answer into speech (base64 MP3) – a real second output modality. - Surface (Amazon API Gateway) – nine REST endpoints; Secrets Manager for every credential; EventBridge for background events.
- Frontend (Next.js 16 on Vercel) – a public marketing site and a login-gated live platform that talks only to the real endpoints.
Key Architectural Choice: Amazon Nova Pro
The reasoning pipeline runs on Amazon Nova Pro (
us.amazon.nova-pro-v1:0), a first-party Bedrock model available across all AWS account types and regions – avoiding the region restrictions that block third-party models on some accounts. Nova Pro is multimodal on input but does not synthesize audio, which is precisely why voice output is a deliberate, separate Amazon Polly call rather than a fabricated model capability.Validation and Performance
- Parallel execution: a full cross-domain synthesis (API Gateway → General Manager → Chief of Staff → 4 agents → Nova Pro → Aurora write) runs at ~8s warm; the pgvector lookup is negligible next to the Nova reasoning call.
- Honest measurement: the 3-field embedding strategy gives retrieval more semantic surface; live cross-domain queries currently land their closest precedent at ~0.40–0.49 cosine (≥0.35 treated as relevant). Where an earlier development figure no longer reproduced against rewritten data, the product states the real current behaviour rather than the stale number.
- Graceful degradation: every agent returns structured fallback evidence rather than crashing the run; memory search returns empty (not an error) if embedding is unavailable; the Slack notifier no-ops cleanly if unconfigured.
- Cold start, documented: ~20s cold vs ~8s warm is Lambda container init, not Aurora; Provisioned Concurrency was evaluated and deferred against the account's concurrency quota – a deliberate trade-off, not an oversight.
Future Enhancements
- Voice input via Amazon Transcribe (microphone → Transcribe → the existing Nova Pro flow) – scoped and deliberately not yet built.
- Image evidence using Nova Pro's real image understanding (a seeded dashboard screenshot processed as genuine image input).
- Deeper per-team scoping, more standing connectors, and adaptive memory recall.
What I Learned
- Defend every number. Moving the scores from LLM output to real code formulas – with the model only narrating – is what makes the product credible under scrutiny. A fabricated formula would be worse than none.
- Pick the boring, correct store. Aurora + pgvector doing both relational and vector work removed an entire class of cross-store consistency bugs.
- Know when not to use an LLM. Security stays deterministic because security findings must be auditable. That restraint is itself a signal of maturity.
Business Model & Societal Impact
Magnivonic is a horizontal intelligence layer, not a single-purpose app: the same engine that protects an enterprise renewal can watch a hospital's cross-departmental risk, a public agency's service signals, or a university's student-experience trends. One core platform, many sectors – and because it is serverless, advanced decision intelligence becomes affordable to organizations that could never staff a 24/7 analyst team.
Final Thought
Organizations are drowning in tools and starving for decisions. Magnivonic delivers what they lack: a single, trustworthy view across the whole business – reasoned, scored, remembered, and ready to act on. Just as observability changed how engineers run systems, cross-domain organizational intelligence can change how leaders run companies – wherever decisions are made across more than one team.
