Introduction
Imagine the anxiety of forgetting a running service and randomly selecting a region in the cloud only to be overwhelmed by waves upon waves of bills and a temporary maze of explanations. The unexpected huge costs could trigger a temporary wave of distrust in cloud. The cloud is a growing landscape in technology and knowing its quirks, risks and opportunities could be valuable in this fast-paced, innovative world, whereas the uncertainties of its cost predictions could be the barricade between a globally evolving start-up and an established enterprise. The daunts of experimenting as an individual or small team while selecting High-grade infrastructure could prove to be a costly gamble. Here, KAGUIDE AI is the deal. Let me introduce KAGUIDE AI, the active business partner that would assist businesses and individuals in handling and managing the complexities of cloud billing in app development.

My vision
The vision here is to empower start-ups and individuals with the knowledge required to determine cost fluctuations in the cloud, concerning their products or apps specifically. This reactive app does not wait for billing to happen; it proactively stimulates a billing environment for users or customers to precisely gauge their cost metrics on available infrastructure. It might seem daunting but it could be very practical in real-world scenarios. It actively calculates the unforeseen costs based on the produced and stipulated architecture. Then, customers analyze the findings to determine the next course of action. It is very detailed with extrinsic steps. It seeks to help people in the app-building phase by measuring out determinants and hopes to reach builders to assist them.
What was built was a stateless application for financial clarity, with guardrails and security. It takes a natural language description from a user, for example, "a video streaming service for one hundred people", and triggers the backend engine of KAGUIDE AI. Amazon Bedrock, as part of the backend engine, fires to map the prescribed intent with Amazon Q, generating explanations and lean suggestions. The interactive slider reveals the recalculated costs upon each slide and, the viral-spike panic button serves as a predictive model for traffic surges.
Why this matters
In modern times, cloud stakes are higher and empowering founders, businesses and individual to navigate it cost-wise would help tackle the ignored silence of running resources and misappropriated provisioning. In this way, founders could experiment effectively with the cloud with reduced surprises. Additionally, growing enterprises could adopt enterprise-grade wisdom from KAGUIDE AI. In sum, this project matters as it puts into perspective a real but overlooked fear that affects even beginners and established businesses in terms of scaling and resourcing the cloud.

Architecture
A diagram outlining the architecture of LeanStack AI
Kiro IDE was implemented for the entire building phase of the project with free-tier AWS services included. It handled the user interface and experience by generating the code outputs needed to run the app. The AWS features implored in this project include Amazon Bedrock - to implement logic and be the brain or powerhouse of the entire project; Amazon Q - to serve an explanatory aspect of the app, to give users a feel of empathy and explain the reasoning behind the choices for consideration; Aws Lambda - for intrinsic calculations in the code and serve as a major part of the backend; Aws Gateway - to connect the two services; and AWS Amplify - to host the generated app.

What I learned
I learnt substantial elements while bringing this project to life, but would iterate on a couple of them. I brushed up on and was dazzled by the use of:
A) Amazon Bedrock to transform ideas from a customer into actionable insights.
B) Amazon Q's ability to critique natural language effectively.
C) Also faced the hard truth from the AWS Price List that delivers the cost of resources as it is.

KAGUIDE AI is not a cost optimizer but an active consultant. It reveals the options before the risk. As companies and individuals are exploring the cloud ecosystem, one question still remains. Did the price get overlooked before selecting the resource? Yes? KAGUIDE AI is here to help.
