Get ready for a gamified journey at AWS re:Invent 2025! Learn how to join the /dev/quest now so you can jump right in at re:Invent. Visit as many /dev/quest/activities as you can to learn, collect stamps, and win premium SWAG items as you unlock every level.

Join the /dev/quest for a gamified journey through AWS re:Invent's technical experiences, where attendees collect stamps for participating in demos, gamified training labs, mini challenges, a dev-themed content creation hub, and community networking activities.
Grab a /dev/quest card and collect stamps at locations across campus, then redeem them for limited edition SWAG at each level while supplies last.
Quantities are limited, so hurry and get your /dev/quest card as soon as you arrive. /dev/quest cards are available in the Developer Community Pavilion in the Expo at The Venetian, AWS Builder Loft in the Content Hub at Mandalay Bay, and the Builder's Arena in Sports Forum at Caesars Forum.

/dev/quest/instructions

Step 1: Join AWS Builder Center to get your personalized QR code

To get started, sign-in or join AWS Builder Center , your all-access pass to AWS learning, code, and community. Click the profile icon in the top navigation to reveal a dropdown, then select QR Code.

Step 2: Secure your /dev/quest card

There are three locations where you can start your adventure! Show your personalized AWS Builder Center QR code at one of these locations to get a /dev/quest card:
  • The Venetian | Level 2| Hall B | Developer Community Pavilion
  • Mandalay Bay | Level 2 South | Oceanside C | AWS Builder Loft
  • Caesar’s Forum | Level 1 | Forum 118 | Builder’s Arena
Attach your /dev/quest card to your badge so you don’t lose it. If you lose your card, you MUST start over.

Step 3: Complete activities and collect stamps

Complete the /dev/quest/activities listed on the /dev/quest card to collect stamps.

Step 4: Collect unlocked /dev/quest/items

Visit the /dev/quest/pickup at the Developer Community pavilion (booth 1502 in The Venetian Expo Hall) to claim your unlocked SWAG items. Make your selection for each level and be prepared to show your /dev/quest card. There are limited quantities of /dev/quest/items. Claim unlocked SWAG items as soon as you unlock each level before they run out!
Pro tip: Claim level 1 and 2 items or level 2 and 3 items together to minimize time waiting in line. The level 2 AWS Builder jacket voucher is distributed at the /dev/quest/pickup, but you'll need to retrieve the actual jacket from the central SWAG desk area in front of the Venetian Expo Hall for sizing.

/dev/quest/parameters

By participating in the /dev/quest, you agree to the promotional offer’s terms and conditions.
  • From December 1, 2025 7:00 AM PT to December 4, 2025 3:00 PM PT, participate in /dev/quest activities and fill your /dev/quest card to receive various items according to the levels unlocked while supplies last.
  • This offer is only valid for individuals 18 years and older who are registered AWS re:Invent 2025 attendees and who have an AWS Builder Center profile. Excludes individuals living in Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Quebec, Russia, Spain, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the region of Crimea. Excludes individuals who are AWS employees.
  • Offer limited to one per attendee. Upon completing the /dev/quest card and turning it in for items, you are no longer eligible to receive any further items.
  • You must collect the stamps from the locations listed on the card to earn items according to the levels printed on the card. For example, a participant can get 2 stamps and receive a level 1 SWAG; getting 5 stamps means they can get a level 2 SWAG; getting 15 stamps means they can get a level 3 SWAG, and getting 21 stamps means they can get a level 4 SWAG.
  • Each listed activity can only be stamped once per person. Multiple attempts or extended participation in the same activity will not result in additional stamps..
  • Stamps will not be reissued if you lose your card.
  • Only physical cards will be accepted to redeem items. Photographs of the card will not be accepted.
  • You may not combine the stamps of multiple quest cards. Stamps must all be on a single card.
  • Once you leave the /dev/quest SWAG desk, you cannot swap your SWAG.
  • Amazon Web Services  (“AWS”) reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time.
  • Offer is non-transferable and may not be resold.
  • Offer valid while supplies last.
  • If you violate any of these terms and conditions, the offer will be invalid.
  • Void where prohibited.
