By participating in the America Student Learn > Share sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the AWS Builder Terms . NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

From October 14, 2025 12:00pm PT to November 7, 2025 5:00pm PT, select an AWS Knowledge Badge and complete the applicable Skill Builder Course, earn an AWS Knowledge Badge, and publish an article on AWS Builder Center describing your learning experience for a chance to win (i) a full scholarship to AWS Cloud Institute , (ii) $1,000 USD in AWS credits, and (iii) an AWS Builder Center keyboard (“Grand Prize”). Must be at least 18 years of age, currently enrolled in a post-secondary school or university, and live in the United States.

You must have a builder.aws.com  profile to be eligible for participation in the Sweepstakes. Employees of AWS, their immediate family members, and members of their households are not eligible to participate. Limit one entry per person. For the avoidance of doubt, participants may publish multiple articles; however, only one article per individual will count towards the drawing for the Sweepstakes.

To qualify for this Sweepstakes, a participant’s article posted to the AWS Builder Center must include (i) the tag #learn-aws-challenge-1 and (ii) the participant’s LinkedIn profile displaying the participant’s current student status. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with LinkedIn Corporation.

Entries that do not meet the requirements set forth in these Terms and Conditions may be disqualified in AWS’s sole discretion. Six (6) winners will be chosen from the eligible entrants at random on November 14, 2025. Three (3) winners will be selected to win the Grand Prize, and three (3) winners will be selected to win $1,000 USD in AWS credits and an AWS Builder Center keyboard. Approximate retail value of the each prize is $400. AWS credits and the scholarships to AWS Cloud Institute have no monetary value. AWS reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) for an item of comparable or greater value, at AWS’s sole discretion.

If you are selected as a potential winner of the Sweepstakes, AWS will contact you by using the email address you submit to enter this Sweepstakes by November 14, 2025. The Prize will be emailed to the email address you provide by November 21. Failure to respond to communications about the Sweepstakes within a reasonable period of time, as determined by AWS in its sole discretion, may result in the forfeiture of the Prize.

By accepting the Prize, you confirm that your receipt is neither prohibited nor inconsistent with any applicable laws, regulations, or binding orders, including applicable ethics or procurement rules, your receipt will not create a conflict of interest for AWS, and there are no ongoing competitive procurements for which your receipt of this benefit could conflict AWS from participating in the competition.

The following personal information will be collected by AWS for the Sweepstakes solely for the purposes of administering the Sweepstakes and verifying participant eligibility: name, city, state or province, country, email address. Failure to provide all necessary personal information may result in participants’ participation in the Sweepstakes being deemed ineligible. AWS handles your information in accordance with AWS Privacy Notice .

An article containing the winners list will be published on AWS Builder Center and will remain available for up to a year after the date on which the article was published. Acceptance of Prize by the winner constitutes permission for AWS to use winners’ names or likenesses, and city, state or province, and country, if submitted to AWS, for any disclosures required by law, including a winners list, and for advertising and promotional purposes relating to the Sweepstakes in any and all media now or hereafter devised, worldwide in perpetuity (or to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law), without additional compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law.

By submitting your submission to the Sweepstakes, you represent and warrant that your submission does not: (i) perform or promote activities that are illegal; (ii) violate or infringe the intellectual property, proprietary, or other rights of others; (iii) perform or promote activities that are offensive or disparaging in any manner; or (iv) cause harm to others or to AWS’s operations or reputation.

The Sweepstakes is sponsored by AWS. AWS reserves the right to cancel or modify this Sweepstakes at any time and for any reason. AWS and its affiliates and licensors will not be liable to you under any cause of action or theory of liability relating to the Sweepstakes, even if a party has been advised of the possibility of such damages, for (a) indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or (b) lost profits, revenues, customers, opportunities, or goodwill. In any case, AWS and its affiliates’ and licensors’ aggregate liability under these Terms and Conditions will not exceed USD $100. The limitations in this paragraph shall apply only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
