Theme: Mashup for the Future
This year's theme, "Mashup for the Future," embodies our vision of creating a new future by blending diverse elements: the collaboration between generative AI and human creativity, technology and industry, urban and regional communities, and various community groups—each bringing their unique colors to the mix.
Our Purpose:
- Bring together people from diverse backgrounds to collaborate and create innovative value
- Use AI as a catalyst for transformation, expanding new possibilities on the AWS foundation
- Fuse human creativity, AI capabilities, and technological/industrial expertise to create impact for the next generation
At JAWS DAYS, we believe in transforming differences into strengths—not superiority, but diversity as power. This year's event aims to be a place where these diverse elements blend together. We've planned numerous sessions and workshops where generative AI and various fields intersect and interact.
A Legacy of Community Excellence
Since 2011, JAWS DAYS has been bringing together AWS enthusiasts, practitioners, and builders—predating both the first AWS re:Invent and the first AWS Summit Tokyo. This remarkable event represents one of the longest-running AWS community gatherings in the world.
Resilience and Growth
Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, JAWS-UG (Japan AWS User Group) kept the community spirit alive by pivoting to online formats. Now, in its third year back to in-person events, JAWS DAYS has grown to welcome 1,500 participants, demonstrating the strength and vitality of the Japanese AWS community.
By the Community, For the Community
JAWS DAYS is uniquely planned and executed by JAWS-UG members—a true grassroots community event. Through an open Call for Proposals (CfP), we invite session submissions from users across the community. Carefully selected speakers share their knowledge and real-world experiences, ensuring that the content reflects the diverse expertise of practitioners. AWS employees participate not as corporate representatives, but as valued community members volunteering their time and passion alongside fellow builders.
Experience the Spirit of Japanese AWS Community
Whether you're a seasoned cloud architect, a developer exploring AWS services, or simply curious about cloud technologies, JAWS DAYS offers technical sessions, hands-on workshops, and invaluable networking opportunities with Japan's most passionate AWS community.
Join us in Tokyo and experience what makes JAWS DAYS a cornerstone of the global AWS community!
