From the new AWS Builder Center mobile app and CloudWatch Omni to simpler AWS onboarding, student access to Kiro, and new EC2 instances, here are five recent AWS updates and what they mean for developers, students, and AI/ML builders.

Absolutely! I think AI-agent observability will become increasingly important as agents become more autonomous and workflows become more complex. Traditional monitoring tells us whether a service is healthy, but agent observability needs to give us deeper visibility into the reasoning flow, tool calls, model interactions, latency, errors, and overall workflow execution.
The interesting challenge will be making all of this easy to understand and actionable for developers, rather than simply generating more logs and metrics.
What do you think will be the most important metric for monitoring AI agents — latency, cost, accuracy, or tool-call reliability?
